It is pool season and I love a late afternoon or early evening dip in the pool. Our pool is a simple 18′ round above the ground pool and was supposed to be temporary.
That was about …um… I don’t know how many years ago, before the down turn in the economy. You see we were going to put an addition on our house and add a “real” pool after that.
Well Que Sera Sera, everything happens just the way it’s supposed to.
Anyway, the important thing is we have a pool!
Unfortunately we get these nasty little yellow and black waspy looking bees in the pool, sometimes lots of them.
So as I am cruising Facebook I come across this tip on how to trap them.
How to make a Wasp Trap
- 1/4 cup vinegar,
- 1/2 cup of warm water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
Place several containers around your pool or outdoor play area.
I think I will give it a try… I hope it works better than the one for mosquito’s which was a total fail! If you have tried this one, post in the comments and let us know how it worked!
Until next time…
Life is simple… don’t get bugged!
